Brett is from Valley Stream, NY. He is the founder of The University of Tampa's Roller hockey team and he also founded Valley Stream South's roller hockey team. During the summers he is the hockey director for Camp Equinunk. During the summer of 2006 he coached the oldest campers to the Gordon Cup Championship!

2006-2007-  Brett led the Spartans in assists with 13.
