Brendan joined the Cortland Roller Hockey Team in his sophomore season. As an avid playmaker he tallied 11 assists and scored 4 goals in his rookie campaign. He bested his 15 point output his junior season by scoring 22 points, good enough for third on the team. Joyce, known by his teammates as BJ, currently ranks second on the all time scoring list for Cortland State, 37 points. His selection as Assistant Captain boosted his leadership skills in his junior season. This year BJ will make the transition to defense in lie of new additions to the team.
Native of Warwick, NY, Brendan is seeking a degree in Business Ethics at Cortland.
During the summer Brendan plays for his club roller team in the NYRHL, the Big Dekes with teammate Mike Barbariantz at Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh, NY.
